6:53 PM it's gettin' quiet in here... no one spoke a word; no one shed a tear. a silent seperation - nothing elses left. Today's the last day of the first week in JC. And... The ONLY lesson for the day - PE. What's best about today was that today's the day that OG 3 bonded most within the week. =) Then I decided to sit-in for chemistry lecture since almost the whole OG went. I rushed to Quest after lunch in school, only to find out that I'm ps-ed by Tionglin, Jon Lek, JunJie, and Steph Chee. But disappointment quickly faded away as I start seeing familiar faces, starting with Mr Imran, and Derek. Then I met Angel and Baosian, they were cool! Without them, I guess i won't stayed in Quest for so long. Mr Toh's still in Quest. Can you believe it? Especially after declaring his retirement back in 2005! WeiShan joined me after that, then she vanished to her band practises, and I was left with Caleb and two new friends Adeline (Sorry, I thought you're a sec 2) and Shujuan. AND. Caleb's amusing! C (Caleb), "Hey CX!! What school did you go?" Me, "Read the words on my shirt?" C, (reads the words slowly, trying hard to process it), "T...P...J...C... ... ... What's that! Temasek Poly... Junior College?!" Me, "Err... Yea!" C, "Is that a poly or a JC?" Me, "What do you think?" C, "Poly? what course?" Me, "Poly got uniform heh!" C, "Poly got uniform? Don't have what!!!" Me, "Hahahaa!! Then??" C, "SO JC LUH!!!" Me, "Uhh... huh?" SJ, "But TP... JC?! What's that?! Toh Payoh JC?" Me, "Is there such a thing?" C, "No?" Me, "Uh huh? then?" (pauses, and take out PE tee-shirt) "Let me give you a clue..." (Flip to the back of the shirt and showed them T.P.J.C.) A, "Ohohh!! What's that?! Temasek Poly JC?" Me, "No?" SJ, "Tampines! - " A, "what what?" C, "What? Got Toh Payoh meh?" Me, "You're right! Tampines!" *note: MORE than them asked me whether TPJC stands for Temasek Poly JC or not. XP All in all, Quest's interior changed quite a bit. All the construction work and renovation work stole all the nice spots away. I really wonder how much the sec 4s this year have to suffer during lessons and all. I'd just wanna wish the rest of the students and esp the sec 4s'09 all the best for the major exams be it Ns or Os. =) Then when I left the darkest of all places. I walked through the narrow pathway, across the dirtiest of canals, all of 'em flashed before me like it was just a second ago. Time really flies.
